Robert (Bob) Bird is the Rotarian of the Year for the Rotary Club of Picton. The Hepburn family provided this trophy for the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Picton to award annually to the Rotarian who has demonstrated service above self in their work for Rotary. This trophy has been awarded each year since 1979. In 2021-2022 Bob Bird led the Rotary Foundation Committee in exceeding the annual goal; planned the Extinguish Polio Project; sold tickets for the annual golf tournament, Lilac Ride, Cash Calendar, and was instrumental in fundraising for the project to Support Ukraine.
