Letter received from Health Partners International of Canada (HPIC) on January 8:

Dear Friends at Rotary Club of Picton,

We are deeply grateful for your generous donation to HPIC’s Emergency Response for communities affected by the war in Ukraine. Your contribution of $3,000.00 will be put to use immediately, helping us mobilize essential shipments of medicines to those in desperate need. To date, we have delivered nearly $31 million worth of critical medical supplies, with millions more on the way. The ongoing crisis is heartbreaking, and it’s difficult to comprehend the suffering of so many people right now.

The situation in Ukraine remains dire, with over 18 million people in need of humanitarian assistance due to the ongoing conflict. HPIC is committed to ensuring that life-saving medicines continue to reach those in need, even as the crisis persists.

Partnerships like yours will always be the heart of HPIC. Without the unwavering support of compassionate donors like you, our efforts would be severely limited. Since 1990, the generosity of our partners and volunteers has allowed us to impact the lives of over 34 million people and deliver more than $735 million in medical aid.

On behalf of everyone at HPIC, thank you for your ongoing support. Together, we are restoring health and renewing hope.
