The weather forecast looked a bit iffy in the hours leading up to the tournament but it ended up being the perfect day for our 37th Annual Rotary Golf Tournmant. Annual Golf Tournament & Virtual Auction
Who doesn't love golf! Our annual tournament represents decades of perfecting an awesome day of fun and fellowship for Rotarians, friends, and the public who will become new friends. Starting with a great lunch, the links at Picton Golf and Country Club are sure to satisfy even the most discerning golfer. Followed by a delicious dinner, prizes and lots of laughs, this even further benefits the community who is the recipient of proceeds. This is a signature fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Picton and the latest event was held on Thursday August 27th.

This event is so popular that it usually sells out long before the tournament day however there are plenty of ways to provide support. We are always looking for hole sponsors as well as donations for our online auction. Three years ago, we added a virtual auction to the golf event, and it includes lots of fabulous items - many of which are donated by local sponsors. If you'd like to provide support for either of these annual charity events - the tournament or the auction - please contact Tournament Chair JJ Johnson at 613-438-4455.
Standard tournament format: Lunch starts at 11:00 AM at the Picton Golf and Country Club, followed by a shotgun start tee off at 12:00 noon. A banquet and auction at the The Clubhouse Restaurant follows play, where everyone has the opportunity to gather and share stories, enjoy a fine meal and partake in raffles and draws.
